Soybeans and corn are widespread throughout the world, having great economic importance in Brazil, however pests and diseases are responsible for substantial losses in agriculture. To control these phytopathogens, the seeds have been treated with chemical products. The soil is rich in plant growth-promoting organisms that inhabit the rhizosphere of plants, and these have multifunctions, such as providing nutrients and controlling pathogens. In this context, the use and management of some microorganisms present in soil have shown good results in controlling phytopathogens. Treating seeds with antagonistic microorganisms can provide control of pathogens that live on the surface of seeds and pathogens present in the soil. The residual influence of inoculation with rhizobacteria is a viable alternative, since these bacteria have an affinity to associate beneficially with these crops in a symbiotic relationship, a fact that allows for better nutrient absorption and biological N fixation in the case of soybeans. which can increase profitability, reduce or even cancel investments in chemical nitrogen fertilizers. The objective of this work was to evaluate the influence of treating soybean and corn seeds with different rhizobacteria on the microbiological attributes of the soil and the development of the soybean and corn plants. The experiment was installed in the field at the BASF Experimental Station, in the city of Santo Antônio de Posse, SP, in randomized blocks, on a Dystrophic Red soil. The trial consisted of 5 treatments with 8 replications, being Control; Piraclostrobina + Bacillus firmus; Bacillus firmus; Azospirillum brasilense Ab-V5 and Ab-V6; Bacillussp. during the period of three (3) harvests, namely: off-season corn (2022), soybeans (2022/2023) and off season corn (2023). They were sown in plots measuring 3 x 6 m. In all treatments, in corn cultivation, including the control, fungicide and insecticide were applied. Microbiological analyzes were carried out, microbial biomass carbon (C_BMS), soil basal respiration (RBS), metabolic (qCO2) and microbial quotient (qMIC), plant agronomic attributes (Plant Dry Mass) and productivity. he results in the corn harvest (2022) demonstrate better microbiological evaluation in the Bacillus firmus and Bacillus sp. treatments, a fact observed in productivity, with emphasis on the use of Bacillus sp. with an increase in productivity of 25%. In the corn harvest (2023), there was an even greater improvement in seed treatments with biological inputs, highlighting the use of Bacillus sp. and B. firmus, with a significant increase in the microbial community (C_BMS) and consequent balance demonstrated in biological activity (qMIC), a fact that influenced productivity, surpassing an increase above 30% in relation to the control. In the soybean crop (2022/2023), all treatments showed better results in the microbiological analyzes of the soil compared to the control, however the seed treatment with A. brasilense was the best. And, this can be observed in soybean productivity with a significant increase of 13% in relation to the control. Thus, we can conclude that the use of rhizobacteria such as B. firmus + Pyraclostrobin, B. firmus, A. brasilense and Bacillus sp. they help improve the maintenance of the soil microbial community and provide gains in the productivity of soybean and corn crops, highlighting the use of Bacillus sp. in corn and A. Brasilense in soybeans.
