    Intensidade e momento de ocorrência de chuvas após aplicação de herbicidas

    The presence of weeds in agricultural areas is one of the main challenges faced by farmers during the cultivation of their crops. To control these weeds, herbicides are widely used as the main control tool. However, environmental factors, such as rainfall that occurs after herbicide application, can significantly compromise the effectiveness of these products in controlling weed species (Digitaria insularis L., Cenchrus echinatus, Eleusine indica L., Urochloa brizantha S.). This study aimed to evaluate the level of weed control with herbicide applications with two precipitation intensities at two times of occurrence. For this, the experiment was conducted with clethodim herbicide associated with glyphosate. After application, the plants were subjected to simulated precipitation of 10 mm at two intensities (5 minutes and 30 minutes) and two moments (immediate precipitation and 1 hour after application), in addition to two controls (without application of herbicides and with application of herbicides). The experiment was carried out in the laboratory, where the parameters of hydrogen potential (pH), electrical conductivity and surface tension and fresh and dry biomass were evaluated. Control was determined using the ALAM scale (1974) associated with the equation determined by BRANKOV et al. (2023). The control efficiency of the Glyphosate + Cletodim herbicide spray depends on the intensity and time of precipitation after application, the plant species found at the site and the species' development stage. A period of more than 1 hour is necessary without the occurrence of precipitation after application, so that the Glyphosate + Cletodim herbicide mixture does not present a reduction in the control of plant species.
