The objective of this work was to evaluate the effect of temperature and the air relative humidity on the watering area and drops evaporation time after being deposited on the tomato plant leaves with different phytosanitary products in juices prepared with or without adjuvants. Calibrated drops with 1000 µm of diameter were deposited on the adaxial surface of tomato plant leaves and monitored up to evaporation under two environmental conditions (31 °C and 35 UR e 25 °C and 75 UR). Evaporation time was determined by the interval between drop deposition and its extinction. Products used for juice preparation were the following: CabrioTop®(2 g L-1), Kumulus®DF (2 g L-1), Nomolt®150 (0,250 ml L-1), Pirate®(0,250 ml L-1), Nimbus®(5,0 ml L-1), Li700®(1,5 ml L-1), CalSuper®(25 ml L-1), BoroSuper®(3,5 ml L-1) and FoliFósforo® (7,5 ml L-1). Products Cabrio Top®, Kumulus®DF, Nomolt®150 and Pirate® were tested alone (with distilled water) and a specific blend (CabrioTop®, Kumulus®DF, Nomolt®150, Pirate®, CalSuper®, and BoroSuper® FoliFósforo®), often it used by producers and tomato in greenhouse Bandeirantes-PR region. To assess drops spreading and evaporation on the surface, a system was developed to simulate different environmental conditions. The systems consists of a temperature and relative humidity control unit, a drops generator which generates drops similar to those used in agricultural field spraying (200 - 1000 µm) and a stestoscope equipped with a high definition camera to capture sequential images. In juices without adjuvants, the drip watering area increases at 31°C and 35% RH and evaporation time decreases. In general, the combination of products and environmental conditions affect the drip watering area. The tested mix brought significant improvement to the drip watering area in relation to most tested products. In juices with adjuvants, drops evaporation time was reduced at high temperatures and low air relative hunidity for most juices. Adjuvants action on the watering area and drops evaporation time depends on the product to which they were added.
