    A formação do leitor e o campo artístico literário: uma proposta para estudantes do 4 º ano do Ensino Fundamental.

    By reading, it is possible to expand your worldview, sharpen your creativity and critical sense, as well as boost the learning process. However, reading proficiency rates are alarming, which confirms that the methodologies used in Portuguese teaching have not been effective. This situation leads to the following investigative question: How can textual genres in the artistic-literary field contribute to developing students' interest in reading and providing critical training? Based on this question, it is proposed to rethink pedagogical practice and the need for systematized actions regarding the reading axis. Thus, the present research began with the investigation of reading practices in a public school in the city of Uraí-PR and its purposeful goal is to develop a Teaching Guide that covers the reading practice of students in the 4th year of Elementary School, contributing to the development of understanding of artistic-literary texts. This educational product entitled Didactic Guide for the training of readers in the 4th year of Elementary School is composed of diverse activities, contributing to the formation of the reader through genres in the artistic-literary field. In order to establish the theoretical foundation of the dissertation, the official curricular documents were used as theoretical support: National Common Curricular Base (BNCC) and the Curricular Reference of Paraná: principles, rights and guidelines (RCP), in addition to authors who discuss reading: Araújo and Reis (2014); Bordini and Aguiar (1993); Cândido (2011); Colomer (2007); Costa (2020); Cosson (2014); Lajolo (2000); Munita and Manresa (2012); Munita (2014); Oliveira and Silva (2016); Soares (1998) and Zilberman (1986, 2008, 2012). As a proposed teaching methodology, the Reception Method, proposed by Bordini and Aguiar (1993), was used. The research is characterized as qualitative, of the action research type, with a view to carrying out an intervention with students from the institution where the researcher operates. Through the Educational Product carry out, the experience with the aforementioned method in classes in the 4th year of Elementary School proved to be quite effective, in terms of attributing new meaning to the approach to literary texts in the classroom and with the potential to contribute to the development of formation of the reader, expanding the horizons of expectations.
