    Agroforestry systems are less degrading forms of agricultural production, in which it is possible to produce and at the same time minimize the effects of human interaction in natural systems, through the consortium of agricultural and forestry species. However, this way of practicing agriculture as ecological and sustainable, will only be done if, together with an efficient implementation, there is an adequate management that guarantees the good development of the SAF. The objective of this research was: to determine the management that can provide better development and financial income in agroforestry system in the North Pioneer. The experiments were implemented in five rural properties in the city of Ribeirão Claro, Paraná. To enable the evaluations, six fixed plots were implanted in each experiment. The evaluations were performed quarterly for nine months. In order to verify the best management, the development of the seedlings and the activities carried out by the farmers were evaluated. In addition, two rapid diagnoses were applied to characterize the properties and to obtain information to compose the economic evaluation. The indicators used for economic evaluation of agricultural production were: Net Present Value (NPV), Benefit-Cost Ratio (RB / C) and Payback, for the financial analysis was used an interest rate of 7% a.a. Development assessments indicated that banana and native plants were the most developed species. The management adopted by farmers AGRI-01 and AGRI-02 provided the best development of seedlings. The results of the economic analysis of the prognosis showed positive results for all the experiments, the NPV that presented the highest accumulated revenue was AGRI-04 with R $ 109,943.26 in the ten years of production, the Payback was of 2 years and the Relation B / C presented valuation of 25.1 times in relation to the amount invested. The economic evaluation showed that the multi-strata agroforestry system can be an economically viable activity for the rural producer in the Northern Pioneer region.
