    Potencial de deriva e injúria de herbicidas pulverizados em túnel de vento

    The possibility of applications of synthetic auxins in crops increases the risk of injury in susceptible plants. The objective of this work was to quantify the drift of herbicides pulverized in wind tunnel and the injury in cotton plants. The experimental design was entirely randomized with five treatments and four repetitions. The spray tested were: dicamba (0,250 L p. c. ha⁻¹); glyphosate (0,625 L p. c. ha⁻¹); 2,4-D (0,250 L p. c. ha⁻¹); glyphosate + 2,4-D (0,625 L p. c. ha⁻¹ + 0,250 L p. c. ha⁻¹) and glyphosate + dicamba (0,625 L p. c. ha⁻¹ + 0,250 L p. c. ha⁻¹), applied with the pre-orifice flat fan ADI 11002 model with 414 kPa of pressure. The drift was measured in a wind tunnel, collected at 5, 10 and 15 m in relation to the spray nozzles. Cotton plants were placed without themselves, visually evaluated for injury in the cotton crop at 3, 7 and 15 days after application (DAA). The results indicate that the drift collected and the injury are inversely proportional to the distance of the spray bar. The collected drift has a positive correlation with the wind tunnel injury. The addition of glyphosate to the dicamba herbicide potentiates the collected drift. In the horizontal distances of 10 and 15 meters, the dicamba and 2,4-D isolated spray had the lowest potential of drift collected among all the evaluated sprays. The dicamba herbicide presented lowest injury when compared to the mixture sprays and the 2,4-D isolated at 15 DAA. The addition of glyphosate to the 2,4-D and dicamba sprays isolated, potentiates the insult in cotton plants in horizontal distances of 5 and 15 meters.
